weird visitors
i’ve been amused by what brings people to my friends’ blogs, since “italian haircut fetish” searches bring readers to BRY, and i know that camacho.tv has had their share of weird search results… but until recently, i only noticed that people would google “kimi puen” to find the link to my page, and someone even searches for “kimi puen net” to find my page. as if it would be that hard to remember/type in “kimi.puen.net” into the location bar… but some people just prefer to google my name instead.
however, recently, i’ve been noticing weird searches resulting in what i would think would be disappointed visitors. i mean, someone who searched for “xanga basketball “fouled out”“ wouldn’t have found a xanga site but just my blog with a couple entries about basketball. i briefly mentioned that i had run into ed CABANATAN last week, and some time ago i had written “eewwwwww” which was apparently what someone was searching for. the weirdest one so far, though, has been someone who looked for “baby kimi needs her diaper change photos” and somehow came to my website. i’m sure i’ve said all those words at one time or another, but not in that particular order.... and so i have no idea what this person is looking for… but i’m pretty sure it’s not my site!
weird, ain’t it?
EDIT: so apparently i’m also #91 in the yahoo search for “meg ryan’s apartment in the movie you’ve got mail". what possesses someone to google that string of words and then browse all the way to the 91st entry barely related to that?

movin'
so… my blog has moved on to a new home page - here at http://kimi.puen.net
and it mirrors my real life, as i’ve moved (down the street!) to apartments 3 blocks away from my house.
i’m sitting here in my near empty room using internet here for what will probably be the last time, and it makes me sad. i’ve been here for 2 years… hosted many a tuesday night here, had housewarmings, birthday parties, overnight guests (and some have turned into ‘5th roommates’ for weeks at a time as they’ve needed it), late night sessions… well, this house has sure experienced a lot. maybe it’s just the sense of ownership you have when you live in a house, but this move makes me sad. i doubt i’ll ever get this attached to the apartment i’ve just moved to… just like i didn’t at our last apartment (although that might’ve had something to do with our manager/neighbor and her husband/man-child =P). but that’s another topic....
to stay on the positive memories, i just wanna say that i hope one day to own a house like this - one that’s open to everyone, a house where people come over to hang out, or just drop by to say hi. a house where there’s a big huge backyard that kids can play in, and a tree with a hammock in it to relax after a long day’s work. a house that has plenty of space to have lotsa guests… basically, i just want to own a place that is warm and inviting, a place that is relaxing, a place of comfort, somewhere to turn when you need a friend. y’know… all the mushy gooshy warm touchy feely stuff that made this house so nice. if a house so old and ghetto and spider-infested as ours could work it’s charm over us, then that gives me high hopes for any house in the future =)
at any rate, i guess i just wanna say - my apartment is always open to you. may you feel welcome in my new place.
and that goes for this site too - welcome to my new blog - i hope you visit often, and leave comments as well. lemme know when you’ve stopped by.
enjoy!

yay! puen.net is up!
i’ve been thinking about putting up this page for years, and this week, i finally bought the name, got a webhost, and everything else… right now it’s my personal blog but i will be putting up family website stuff here and moving my blog to http://kimi.puen.net or something like that, once i figure out how to make subdomains =)
but yah, just wanted to say what great news this is! =)

testing out new blogs
okay, hello everybody,
i’m tired of trying to update my website everytime i have something to say (notice how static it’s been? no updating at all...) and so i’ve moved on to a blog site. i’ve been waiting to do this because i wanted to have my own host and blog stuff but i realized i’ll probably never get around to that cause of pricing and taking the time to learn the script. one of these days, maybe next summer =)
anyways, you can see this blog post on kgrp.blogspot.com, kimichka.blogspot.com, [link], and kgrp.tblog.com. i’ll be testing out these different hosts for the first few posts and see if either of them offers more, mostly i’m looking for a categories system where i can post to different categories instead of having one journal with all topics lost within it. any ideas? help me out…
kimi =)
