teaching is stressful, but it's rewarding too =)
i just found out i have high blood pressure - and i realize that i’ve been stressed out lately, just tons of activities at school, etc. i’m involved with a lot of extracurricular stuff, and i’m always feeling tired… every day - monday to friday, there are activities, and even some of my weekends have been booked!
i was just thinking that i needed to cut back on activities, and i was so relieved that it’s the end of the volleyball season, etc, so that i have a few of my days back to myself. then i came home, turned on my computer, and found this comment on my myspace page.... it’s from a student who i had to have a talk with… not always the most comfortable situation, but it’s so nice when it ends out this way =)
and all i can think is… my students are so sweet =) comments like this make me feel like it’s all worth it!
Hey Kimi, I Have To Thank You Once Again And Really I Am Not Mad At You, I Honestly Think That Ur A Great Teacher And You Care For Your Students...You Go Beyond...I Know That If I Were At Another School, I Wouldn’t Get That Same Treatment So Thank You Once Again For Pulling Me In The Right Direction. I Also Think If You Haven’t Had Talked To Me, My Driving Privilages Would Have Been Suspended Until January Or Something...I Now Know I Can Drive In A Month Or So...Thanks, Ur The Best...I Bet I Made U Cry Huh?nope, no crying, but i’m touched by this message

hiking at millard canyon
our family got together to celebrate my dad’s birthday (which was last weekend) and we went to millard’s canyon after brunch in pasadena…
