congratulations, kar!
or should i say, congrats, doctor yung! =)
kat and i made this lei that’s kar’s wearing in this picture for her to wear while graduating… so we dropped it off last night so that she would have it in time for the ceremony (cause c’mon, let’s get real - i wasn’t gonna make it to the ceremony ahead of time to be able to give it to her, in fact, as i recall, the three of us were all late to our own grad ceremony 5 years ago at la sierra and as a result we’re not in the class picture!)
at any rate, here we are five years later… all three of us have finished post-grad work - i graduated last year from UCR with my masters in education, and kat graduated in absentia earlier this month from NYU with a masters in education communications technology, and today, kar graduated from loma linda med school… we’re so edjumacated, yet… if you look at this pic, it could’ve easily been taken five years ago in our honors dorm… we all still look exactly the same! hahaha…

Geez… has it been that long? Sometimes it seems like only yesterday that the honors crew was getting in trouble somehow in ol’ South Hall or something in missions was causing someone a headache. Good times.
Congrats Dr. Kar! And to Kimi & Kat for their post-college work. I don’t have a fancy degree but I’ve got a wife, I’m a home owner, and got a kid on the way. You guys still have some catching up to do
